Domain:

If you do not want to use the blogspot.com as part of your domain name, you can purchase a domain name directly from blogger for just $10.00. There are also other websites of which you can visit to do so as well! 

There are many companies from whom you can buy domain names, usually for very reasonable yearly prices. A Google search for domain registrar will turn up numerous options. Keep in mind that you can also buy a domain name directly through Blogger; doing so will configure your DNS and Blogger settings automatically. You can also shop around through this list:

BibMe is a fully automatic bibilography maker that auto-fills.  It is very easy to build a works cited page.

You must create an account to utilize BibMe! 

• You search for a book, article, website, or film, or enter the information yourself.
• Add it to your bibliography.
• Download your bibliography in either MLA, APA, Chicago, or Turabian formats and include it in your pager.

Firefox Personas

You can use Firefox Personas to personalize your Firefox browser. It also makes your browser look more visually appealing versus just the plain default gray. There are many "skins" available to choose from. There is a search bar in the top right of the main screen to find specific designs you like. There is also many categories to choose from if you don't know something to specifically search.

 iGoogle is a good way to customize your google homepage. You can add gadgets and themes to your homepage. You can switch back and forth from iGoogle to Classic view. 

Word Cloud

Word Clouds are good way to make a college of what you like. A word cloud is an attractive arrangement of randomly positioned words, where the most important words are bigger than the others.  Word clouds visually represent the frequency or importance of a word in a given text. You can use any thing you want sports, music, family, school class, and assignment for school.

Histats is a website that creates a counter for your blog. You can also pick the style of counter. It will show you where they are from country and even down to the city. It will show you how many people visit your site.

Blogger Gadget

There are many gadgets for blogger. Gadget are a good way to make your blogger fun or you can use them for business. One gadget that I added was the sociable gadget: it will take you to any on the websites that are listed.  I exploded the virtual pets, games, and the news. If you want to see an example scroll down to the bottom of the screen and here is an example screen shot of the gadget.

Stats

Stats is a new gadget from blogger. Stats is were the computer shows you how many people visit your blog and it can also show you where they are from. Go to design, click on add a gadget, click on stats and select your graph. Click on design, click the stats tab and scroll down to the graph and click the more right above.

TextAnim

Today in we learned how to use TextAnim. TextAnim is a website that lets you create a text and fill it with your own graph. My Favorite part about it was you get to pick your own graph for the background.

For the last three days we have been working on a meez avatar. A meez avatar is another way to make a picture of yourself as an animated character.

Today We learned how to make an avators. Avators are a good way to make a cartoon version of you and not have to have a real you can use your avator has your picture for the blog.  
On Thursday, We learned how to set a Wiki page and a wiki is another way to tell what people or you are doing!!!!

I use the webcam to get in touch with my dad while he is in Iraq.
