Domain

Domain: 
A domain name uniquely identifies an Internet Protocol (IP) resource such as a web site on the Internet.  Domains are based on the Domain Name System (DNS).   In 2010, the total number of active domain registrations reached 196 million.


If you do not want to use the blogspot.com as part of your domain name, you can purchase a domain name directly from blogger for just $10.00. There are also other websites of which you can visit to do so as well! 

There are many companies from whom you can buy domain names, usually for very reasonable yearly prices. A Google search for domain registrar will turn up numerous options. Keep in mind that you can also buy a domain name directly through Blogger; doing so will configure your DNS and Blogger settings automatically. You can also shop around through this list:
